OPC sponsors 9th annual Women in Energy Seminar – London, 2 March 2015

Despite gender diversity being a hotly debated topic over the last decade, why does the UK still have the lowest proportion of female to male engineering professionals in Europe – just 7%?  Given that we are facing an engineering shortage in the UK and in the energy industry in particular, why can France attract women into the engineering profession (23% female) yet the UK still lags behind?

The 9th annual SPE women in energy event on 2 March in London focuses on practical issues and solutions for increasing opportunities for women in the Energy industry.  Attendees will hear how companies with a gender-balanced workforce financially outperform those with an unbalanced workforce and at just £60 to attend (£20 for students), the event is a must for managers within the industry to gain a real understanding of the issues and solutions.  Click on the image below to see more details and visit www.make-an-impact.eventbrite.co.uk to book your place.
