Stuart Hart successfully finishes the Doha College 10K race at Aspire Park
Stuart’s move from Aberdeen to Doha, Qatar has not affected his sporting hobbies in the slightest. Despite the heat of the desert, after only 2 months in Doha, he participated in and finished at a respectable 61st place in the 10k desert run organised by Doha College – held on 16 November 2012.
The annual race is now in its second year and the number of participants has grown from 300 in 2011 to 477 runners this year. Stuart, OPC Middle East Business Development Manager, says he just signed up for fun and saw it as a great way to keep fit and make new friends. Participants were made up of all age levels from children to adults with runners joining as far afield as Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
