OPC performs integrated reservoir studies that include the evaluation of geophysical, geological, petrophysical data for the construction of static models for dynamic simulation and finally the design of the optimized field development plan. OPC create a robust way of developing, producing and maintaining hydrocarbon resource up to and including surface design. In designing each plan, careful economic planning and feasibility studies are undertaken to put in place where utilization of resources is optimized and in line with budget constraints.
Our field development planning services are enhanced significantly by a strategic alliance with INTECSEA, part of WorleyParsons Group, specialising in subsea facilities, pipeline and topside engineering expertise, allowing us to be able to offer a fully integrated reservoir to market field development planning service.
The concept begins at an integrated subsurface reservoir study that includes the evaluation of geophysical, geological and petrophysical data for the construction of static models for dynamic simulation before maturing into the optimisation of the field development plan where the project moves towards a pre-FEED concept selection stage. We then incorporate the subsurface data and understanding and integrate this with INTECSEA expertise to create a robust way of developing, producing and maintaining hydrocarbon resource up to and through to the market.
The purpose of this integrated approach to full field development planning is to improve concept selection at the pre-FEED stage by the sharing of data, knowledge and respective expertise. It allows us to incorporate all reservoir uncertainties to bring into consideration the full range of development options.
Here are selected examples of recent projects undertaken by OPC:
- OPC successfully completed a full static and dynamic modelling and simulation review in order to assess the feasibility of the operator’s appraisal and development plan – Middle East.
