OPC Wins – Q4 of 2011

This year has seen a very busy Technical Services team working on multiple projects spanning from the US to Eastern Asia.

This month we completed a contract in Syria with an IOC to provide expertise in the evaluation of carbonate fields utilising static and dynamic models in Eclipse. The work was mainly carried out by OPC’s technical services team in the client’s London office. The team comprised of Lead Reservoir Engineer, a Petrel Modeller and a Senior Geoscientist. It was a new win and brought in on time and budget.

Earlier in the year the team have been busy with a fully integrated study to re-evaluate the pre-development options across multiple fields in Egypt.

We also conducted two separate projects for the same client in Kazakhstan which involved utilising Petrel and Eclipse models to investigate field potential. For the second project, the team built a gas production forecast model and provided well test interpretation.

We continue growing our relationship with Po Valley, which started in 2009 and this year our team completed some well test analysis in addition to numerous static and dynamic modelling work.
