OPC appoints new Consultant Services Advisors, Mef Badali and Nathan McDonnell

To increase our capacity to deliver consultant services in response to the increased level of current enquiries, we are delighted to welcome Mef Badali and Nathan McDonnell to our team. They will be working as Consultant Services Advisors, providing advice, support and services to clients and consultants.

Mef Badali

Mef applied to the role of Consultant Services Advisor after learning about the developing opportunities at OPC through a friend. Since joining, he has been actively sourcing consultants, communicating with clients and supporting the consultants we currently have in operation with numerous projects globally.

Mef has specific experience of the oil & gas industry including teaching engineers and executives in Moscow to speak business English. This experience will be crucial in helping to develop OPC services in CIS countries and other areas.

“I am most excited about the prospect of bringing in business of any kind, whether building leads or sourcing consultants. I might even say that the latter brings more job satisfaction, as there is the knowledge that it has real, significant, and (hopefully) positive consequences on the lives of others – not just consultants, but also their families. Either way though, seeing tangible results of one’s work is always satisfying, and I think it is very important in building job contentment.”

When Mef isn’t at work, and if his knees allow it, he goes running and workouts at the gym, which is useful to counter his passion for food and cookery. Mef loves to cook and humbly thinks that his friends who come around for dinner go away happy. He is also a voracious reader.

Nathan McDonnell

Nathan was recommended to OPC by our Energy Transition Services & Training Lead, Max Richards. They both attended the University College of London (UCL) together. As Consultant Services Advisor Nathan will work alongside Mef to source consultants and support clients, dealing with contracts, applications and recruitment and queries.

Nathan said:

“Having graduated in Geology, I am excited to finally step into a role in which I can use that knowledge.  I am very excited to be part of the energy sector as it was an area that I have always been interested in.”

When Nathan isn’t advising our clients and consultants, he is devotedly spending time watching football and UFC matches—or exploring new places, travelling, and expanding his understanding of the world.

So, please give a warm welcome to our new Consultant Services Advisors. We look forward to them strengthening our ties with our clients and our consultants. If you would like to get in touch with Mef and Nathan, then please email them at:
