OPC to test attendees at SPE London annual conference

OPC is the main sponsor of the SPE London Section 2nd Annual Conference: 22-23 May 2013 “Managing Oil & Gas Portfolios in Uncertain Markets” and will be taking the opportunity to test delegates’ knowledge of well test interpretation.

The conference is of interest to a unique mix of technical, commercial and financial professionals and investors.  There are a range of speakers from industry professionals to senior managers who aim to give delegates an insight into the principles of oil and gas taxation: impact of government policies, fiscal framework and global market trends on investment decisions; portfolio analysis and management; drivers of asset and corporate acquisitions and mergers; M&A trends; financing strategies under constraint market conditions; legal due diligence, operational and other challenges in emerging markets; opportunities and challenges in two major West African countries – Nigeria and Angola.

The conference will finish with a Gala Dinner on the 23 May, Claridge’s, London with guest speaker Jeremy Vine.

OPC has included a well test quiz in the delegate pack.  Five questions have been set by Piers Johnson and Bill Roberts which will challenge attendees’ knowledge of well test interpretation.   The best answers will win a brand new iPad courtesy of OPC.
