OPC has appointed Sylvia Garcia, an experienced Oil and Gas industry recruitment professional, as Senior Consultant Services Advisor based in the OPC Houston office. Sylvia has nearly ten years’ experience of delivering successful recruitment and resourcing projects for Oil and Gas businesses throughout the USA. She will use that expertise to grow the Consultant Services business for OPC within the USA.
Sylvia will work closely with other members of the Consultant Services team, in particular, OPC Consultant Services Manager Ada Branfield.
Ada said “We are delighted that Sylvia has chosen to join OPC. She will use her experience to develop our Consultant Services in the USA, recruiting and resourcing US based professionals for contract, consultancy and permanent positions with our international client base.”
OPC is well known for providing Technical Services in the USA, in particular through the expertise of well test interpretation specialist Bill Roberts, president of OPC USA. Sylvia will work alongside Bill to extend the range and depth of the OPC service range, providing consultants and recruitment services within the specialist niches of subsurface engineering, well testing, reservoir engineering and geoscience.

Having most recently worked in a training role, I am really looking forward to returning to a more hands-on recruitment position, utilizing my 10 years of experience to help candidates and clients within the O&G industry.”
