Conversion and update of dynamic reservoir model

OPC’s in-house subsurface team converted and updated a dynamic model for a producing gas field in the North Sea.

OPC received a dynamic model from the client which was converted to Eclipse format. After discussions with the client’s geologist the model was updated to reflect recent performance and to integrate the results of a well stimulation. Forecasts were made with a range of possible well interventions and drilling options.

These forecasts were then integrated with the surface and commercial constraints using an in-house spreadsheet and the results were presented to the client for economic analysis.
