Creation of a GAP, Prosper, MBAL (IPM) model
The project consisted of reviewing over 40 fields and combing them all into one large model. OPC then updated all the fields with the latest production and began the history matching process. Once a reasonable match was achieved the model was run in forecast mode with many late life field development strategies considered.
The value this project has had to the operator is immense. The operator now has a more reliable forecasting method and the operator can assess back out of new fields and impacts on facility constraints.
