A matured carbonate field offshore Sharjah and evaluate surrounding prospectivity
OPC deployed a full multidisciplinary team (Subsurface, Drilling, Facilities and Economics disciplines) with solid regional experience, to assess and quantify rejuvenation options of a matured carbonate field offshore Sharjah during a 6-weeks study, and evaluate surrounding prospectivity. Effective communication allowed the client to be informed of the progress of the work throughout the project.
The team delivered a comprehensive report and travelled to UAE to present the findings of the study. The study helped the client to make commercial decisions, limiting financial exposure and maximising the value of the field.
