OPC provided Owner’s Engineer support for geotechnical investigations associated with an LNG production and jetty facility in Timor-Leste, delivering independent technical oversight and advisory services throughout the execution of site investigation works.
The scope included review and validation of geotechnical investigation plans, methodologies, and vendor proposals, as well as supervision of onshore and offshore field activities.

- Review and validation of geotechnical investigation plans, methodologies, and vendor proposals
- Supervision of onshore and offshore field investigations including borehole drilling, CPTu testing, and laboratory sampling
- Auditing of laboratory facilities and testing procedures
- Review and validation of geotechnical data and reporting outputs
- Assessment of data suitability for foundation design of LNG facilities, marine structures, and associated infrastructure
- Ongoing technical monitoring, advisory support, and reporting throughout execution
All activities were carried out in accordance with international standards, HSSE requirements, and project specifications to ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability.
Outcome:
Delivered validated geotechnical datasets and technical assurance of investigation works, supporting reliable foundation design inputs for LNG production facilities, jetty structures, and associated infrastructure.
