Max said:

“I was honoured to be asked to take part in the event by the SPE and it was great fun developing my presentation which shared my background and my career journey so far. I spoke about the importance of networking (as its how I found my role with OPC) and how all petroleum engineering specialists can use their skills to be involved in the transition to net-zero carbon. As Larry Fink CEO of BlackRock commented recently “There is no company whose business model won’t be profoundly affected by the transition to a net zero economy”.

I have already worked on a number of Carbon Capture and Storage projects (CCS) for OPC and it is exciting to be involved in the expansion of the new-zero sector.”

Max is based in our London office and is the key point of contact for all clients wanting to navigate towards Energy Transition. He has an MSci in Environmental Geoscience, completing his masters project in Carbon Capture and Storage. Max is co-ordinating the provision of OPC’s technical, consultancy and training services to the net-zero economy and is actively managing several CCS projects.

Please contact Max Richards for more information on OPC services to support Energy Transition projects.
