MOU extends training opportunities in Kazakhstan

MOU extends OPC training opportunities in Kazakhstan

OPC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to provide technical training experts to support the commercial training services of Kazakhstan’s number one university.

OPC will provide English speaking trainers with expertise in petroleum engineering topics to enable the institution to offer a broader and more experienced training curriculum to commercial oil and gas companies in Kazakhstan.

Piers Johnson, Managing Director of OPC said:

“I was delighted to visit Almaty and sign the MOU.  We have recently extended the range of services we provide in Kazakhstan (including training and technical consultancy) and this agreement will provide additional opportunities for our training services division.  I was very impressed by the facilities and advanced technology I was shown at the university and look forward to developing our relationship over the next few months”

OPC have existing training partnerships with Imperial College London and the IFP on Paris and the MOU in Kazakhstan is an important extension of their commercial training relationships.
