Gulf of Mexico – Offshore CO2 Injection Study

Project Completed

CO2 injection study, carbon storage, Gulf of Mexico

OPC performed an analysis studying the well injectivity of several scenarios the offshore Gulf of Mexico.

Using OPC’s substantial experience and knowledge of CO2 injection modelling, we analysed several sensitivities using Prosper. The investigation took into account a range of scenarios involving possible impurities and also forecasted the long-term storage capabilities of the asset. The OPC analysis has helped the client to define injection potentials for the project.
