OPC was involved in the pre-test design, real-time operational support, and post-test interpretation, ensuring full technical coverage across all stages fore well test.
What we did:
- Pre-test design included key recommendations for the test programme, such as rates, choke settings, and operational downstream pressures.
- Real-time support was provided throughout the test, including assistance with production monitoring and interpretation of operations pressure.
- Post-test interpretation enabled a detailed understanding of the key reservoir parameters and well deliverability, consistent with the estimated STOIIP and connected volume. Reservoir geometry was assessed, and type curves were matched to the measured data to validate the interpretation.
Outcome:
Reservoir properties and geometry were defined, along with recommendations for further development and an estimate of the minimum connected volume.
